EW Howell promotes and cultivates a safety culture that extends through all levels of our company, from the top to the bottom of the organization. EW Howell’s Safety Director, John Masciopinto, oversees all safety protocols companywide.
Our Safety Department works diligently to review project-specific requirements and tailor our site-specific safety plans to meet the needs of the client and all authorities having jurisdiction.

Training
Education is the cornerstone of an effective safety program. EW Howell requires that each person working on our projects possess the training required for the task at hand in a form/manner acceptable to EW Howell. EW Howell has partnered with industry leaders to make high-quality, effective training available to EW Howell personnel as well as our subcontractor partners. To this end, our project superintendents undergo rigorous safety training mandated by the EW Howell Safety Department to ensure safe work practices among all trades and maintain a continuous commitment to managing a safe project:
Worker safety on EW Howell projects is the prime concern and the number one priority of our construction superintendents, who primarily oversee the implementation of our safety program, policies, and procedures. Workers are required to take part in a detailed site-specific safety orientation prior to commencing work on-site and are held to the stringent safety requirements that have made EW Howell a safety leader in the construction industry.
