Plainview-based EW Howell Construction Group recently promoted Michael Johneas to executive vice president. Johneas, who joined the firm in 1992, has more than 35 years of experience in the construction industry, and has managed a diverse range of projects from inception through completion. Johneas became involved with the Target Store Program in 1997, when Target started construction on its first Long Island store. He has since led all of EW Howell’s projects for Target, Lowe’s, Walmart and Costco. Johneas holds a bachelor’s degree in construction technology from Farmingdale State College.
