EW Howell Construction Group is thrilled to share that the Jones Beach Theater Renovation project received the 2024 Jeffrey J. Zogg Build New York Award! This award recognizes the collaborative efforts of construction teams, including general contractors, construction managers, owners, architects, and all other contributors to the success of a project.

Serving as General Contractor, EW Howell was awarded this extensive 95,000-square-foot renovation and expansion project for Jones Beach Theater, including a new Art-Deco-inspired design. Specific features of this project included a new entrance for quicker entry, upgraded seats and new premium seating experiences, additional restrooms, food, and beverage outlets, as well as VIP benefits. Through extensive collaboration with our partners, we were able to not only improve the fan experience for theatergoers but also improve the theater’s operational efficiency.

We are honored to receive this award from the Associated General Contractors of New York State (AGC NYS) and the Associated General Contractors of America, and thank all parties involved in bringing the Jones Beach Theater project to life.
