This project consisted of a new 74,000-square-foot Benchmark Senior Living facility in Woodbury, which offers 102 beds to the senior housing industry for both assisted living and memory care residents.
The project is set on the site of a previous small retail building and a single-family private residence in the middle of a small residential neighborhood in close proximity to neighbors around the site perimeter, so we were always very conscious of the work we were doing and the potential impacts to these residences, especially during excavation and steel erection stages of the construction. The building is a structural steel and concrete structure with cold formed framing and Hunter insulation panel exterior that is clad in HardiPlank siding and stone veneer, and also includes a TPO, shingle and standing seam metal roof system.
