NYU Langone Ambulatory East Meadow Building

NYU Langone Health, Ambulatory Care East Meadow

The new NYU Langone Ambulatory Care East Meadow is a multi-specialty outpatient center. It offers services in neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and physical therapy.

The nearly 60,000 square-foot converted supermarket has 60 exam rooms, providing the capacity to care for more than 350 patients daily. The open floor plan afforded the flexibility to design the space with an optimal patient experience in mind. For instance, patients with foot and ankle injuries — who may experience difficulty walking — receive treatment near the entrance.

The physical therapy gym, which spans 8,500 square feet, features the latest therapeutic equipment, computer-based video motion analysis, as well as a sports performance turf.
