Completed in December 2009, this Century 21 project in Rego Park, NY consisted of a 160,000-square-foot interior fit-out which is part of a new 3-story mall. The store occupies a small portion of the first level and the entire third level. Features include a prominent corner glass atrium which houses third-floor express escalators and an elevator that can be seen from the street and LIE.
The Rego Park location was completed in 9 months. This project met an aggressive construction schedule in order for the store to open on time. Since the mall was also under construction by another builder at the time, logistically planning the delivery of construction materials and equipment was essential to meet deadlines.
This is the sixth location for Century 21 in the area, following their flagship, one in Brooklyn, one on Long Island, and two in New Jersey.
