Located near the intersection of North Street and White Plains Avenue, the development site for Elizabeth Seton Children’s Young Adult Center comprises around 23 acres and was once home to St. Agnes Hospital. The site currently includes a number of facilities, including The Bristal at White Plains, an assisted living and memory care facility.
The new 5-story, 111,000-square-foot building will include 96 beds for medically fragile young adults aged 18 to 35 years old, a courtyard, and rooftop gardens.
In addition to new patients, the facility will also serve as a care destination for young adults who age out of the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center, but still require specialty medical and support services.
