The AdvantageCare (an EmblemHealth company) Center in Bethpage, NY is one of EmblemHealth’s largest sites that provides the local community with many services. This project consisted of the interior fit-out of new medical offices.
Located on the ground floor of a 2-story building, the 60,000-square-foot facility includes services such as Imaging/Radiology, Primary Care, Infusions/Hematology/Oncology, Specialties, Eye Services, Pediatrics, Laboratory/Phlebotomy, Audiology, Gastroenterology Services/Procedures, and Neighborhood Care Services. All services are programmed within individual suites including support services such as nurse stations, exam rooms, patient toilet facilities, a medications supply room, and consultation rooms. Staffing includes physicians, nurse managers, care managers, dieticians, scheduling, registration and billing, and pharmacists.
The EmblemHealth Bethpage facility is fitted with a main entrance and multiple entrances to specialty services. During the course of the project, to mitigate COVID-19, infrastructure was upgraded, including an entrance screening room and UV lighting in HVAC systems.
The client officially occupied their newly renovated facility on February 11, 2021.
