EmblemHealth – Uniondale

The AdvantageCare (an EmblemHealth company) Center opened a 22,155-square-foot medical office facility, which EW Howell Construction Group was the General Contractor for, at 70 Charles Lindbergh Boulevard in Uniondale, NY. The space provides the local community with many services such as pediatrics, primary care, medical and surgical specialties, ophthalmology services, RadNet imaging, and Quest lab support services. All services are programmed within individual suites including support services such as nurses stations and exam rooms. Staffing includes physicians, nurse managers, care managers, dieticians, scheduling, registration and billing.

The central core design includes a greeting desk upon entering, a sub-waiting room for each specialty, and registration areas. This site was designed with two means of egress, with both east and west entrances to the common central core areas. The more prominent and highly visible west entrance is on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard.
