Pokemon Center Flagship Store

Pokemon Center, Flagship Store

Completed in November 2001, this 13,000-square-foot Pokemon Center flagship retail center encompasses two levels at the corner of Rockefeller Center and 48th Street (now occupied by the Nintendo World store). The Pokemon Center was designed by The Phillips Group, who were tasked with blending a 21st century store into a 1937 landmark building. The space includes the ground floor, a mezzanine, and a lower level used for storage. The two retail floors are connected by a glass-enclosed elevator in addition to a staircase. The store is encased on two sides with glass, eliminating the need for any exterior signage.
