
Saks Fifth Avenue – Short Hills
This Saks Fifth Avenue project in Short Hills, NJ included a 36,000-square-foot addition and 64,000-square-foot renovation of a former general merchandise department store. The renovation included the demolition of the interior. The interior renovations included luxury boutiques, a café, new escalators and elevators, new mechanical systems, and all new finishes. The exterior renovation included all new finishes, entrances, and a porte-cohere for valet parking. EW Howell Construction Group built the original building for another retail chain over 20 years earlier.
