The Montaukett Learning Resource Center is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) with a certification goal of LEED Silver, marking the first LEED Certified building on the Riverhead campus.
Suffolk County Community College, Montaukett Learning Resource Center
The Montaukett Learning Resource Center project included the new construction of a 40,000 SF academic building on the Suffolk County Community College Riverhead campus. The building contains a small library, classrooms, lecture rooms, study rooms, and offices.
Working with a tight construction schedule, completion was needed by the end of year in order for the building to be open and in use by students in time for the spring semester.
