New York Medical College, Medical Education Center

New York Medical College, one of the largest private health sciences universities in the country, chose EW Howell Construction Group to construct its Medical Education Center. The project consists of a 54,000-square-foot addition of core research and teaching facilities on the college’s Valhalla, New York campus, as well as a 20,000-square-foot renovation of Basic Sciences Buildings. The fourth floor of the building is dedicated to the gross anatomy laboratory. The space includes embalming and prep areas, cold and warm storage, restrooms, and shower facilities and is naturally illuminated by the clerestory topping the floor.
