Rye Playland

Initially constructed in 1928, Playland is a New York landmark and continues attracting families, groups, and avid park-goers.

In mid-2023, Phase 1 of the multi-phase Rye Playland project was completed. This phase included landscaping, ride work, the fountain, and the retail store. Phase 2 of the project wrapped up during the summer.

Renovation was done on the fountain, including new pump system equipment, waterproofing, and precast, as well as the mall planting, including removal of existing trees in favor of an all-new landscape. Gift shop fit-out was done, as well as demolition and new construction on a side car ride project.

Rye Playland officially opened on May 20 for its 95th Opening Day of the 2023 season; it operated only on weekends for the first few weeks.
