The New York Botanical Garden, Everett Children’s Adventure Garden

Post content

Completed in 2024, this project saw the renovation of two timber-framed buildings at the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden at the New York Botanical Garden: the Discovery Building (4,300 square feet) and the Dodge Building (1,650 square feet).

Specific interior work for the approximately combined 6,000 square feet of program space included new millwork, new carpet and flooring surfaces, refurbished doors, refreshed painting, and trim work. The entire HVAC systems were replaced for both buildings and in the Dodge Building, an accessible unisex toilet room was added. The exterior of both buildings were cleaned and painted, and the shingle roof of each building was fully removed and replaced.
